I've just started a strict protein diet to help with my weight training without the obvious chooses of chicken turkey tuna eggs etc. What meals do people recommend? Things that can be snacked on maybe a few meal ideas? Throw it at me guys!

Fareham

Snack-wise, what about Biltong? It's dried peppered beef from South Africa (like beef jerky but better). I've never had it but it does sound tasty.

More places in the UK are selling it now (I saw some in Asda the other day).Just make sure you check the packet for salt content - genuine South African Biltong has a lower salt content apparently.

If you're serious about it you need to eat about 6 times a day and train 3. Literally weighing lettuce leaves to get the balance right. Chicken, fish and steak are your protein staple, then supplements on top (which class as a meal). Look at rugby nutrition on google. It's all there. Give it time though. Doesn't happen over night.
