We have had the same with a couple who deleted their account, don't stress about it you have time to arrange to meet another friend and you know not to bother with the guy that has cancelled on you.

I must have been exceedingly lucky in my years of swinging on and off. I've never once had a last minute cancellation or a no show!

I'm sure it'll happen one day to me though.

I have cancelled a few times, I have always told them tho, even if I have arranged to meet if between the time of agreeing to meet and meeting something is said or done that makes me have second thoughts I will cancel, we all have the rights to put our safety first and pull out at anytime, I think people should say tho not just block

I think many people get nervous the closer it gets to meeting and they just decide to not bother going.

It's never nice when it happens to you, but don't take it personally as I don't think it's meant that way.

Op, I'll say what I would a single man: it could have been something you said, a recent verification, photo...who knows.

You weren't left waiting and people are allowed to change their mind.

I don't reply to people outwith my criteria to avoid the insults, if someone is pushy, needy, add pics showing bareback sex whilst professing to practice safe sex etc I block without further discussion!

If that makes me childish: oh well!

I've been cancelled on which was fine because I was told in plenty of time. Fortunately I've never been stood up.

It's a pretty poor show not to tell you though if you have already made the arrangements.

Well I had my first no show yesterday ( Wed).

Spoke with the guy the night before at length. I knew quite a lot about his job so connected well, had a good laugh etc. Had a lovely surprise Wed lunch time asking if I was free to meet as he had the rest of the day and night off.

Told him I would have to re-arrange some things and would book a hotel. He kept texting to make sure all o.k for 3p.m at the hotel.

I checked in and surprise, surprise!!..no word from him. Texted him but but no reply. How ignorant. Still no word all evening.

So I arranged to meet up with an old friend and had an amazing afternoon. Couldn't let the room go to waste..lol

Why do people have to get all technical on this site, the lady is p***ed off as she made an arrangement to meet a guy who up until the night before was up for it then just blocks her, in our eyes he needs to grow a pair of balls. Whether he just changed his mind, felt he wasn't attracted to her after all or had prior engagements. A little 2 minute message to say he couldn't make it was all that was needed.

We always say from the start if we feel we're not right for each other and if we can't make the plan we've arranged we will tell them at the soonest opportunity.

I guess some people just don't have the balls to say how it is and others just enjoy an argument on here. The moral of the story is... She has a right to feel p***ed off and "stood up" whether she was waiting for him to turn up or whether he just blocked her either way it weren't fair!

I'm sure someone will bitch about this but we don't mind we can take it.

Happy swinging .

Perhaps they just get kicks out of the fact that that someone is waiting for them, nursing their lack is self esteem. I have been on this site a year now and it has happened to me a multitude of times. Infact , have met one person in my year of being here for a social. I can sympathise,it can be immensely frustrating. Keep going young lady ! Best wishes.

I've just had a cancellation for just this reason (last night, actually). It's someone I have seen a few times before. Mind you - he has used this excuse 3 times before so I think he will be surprised when he asks me for another meet! A no thank you heading his way.

Sometimes you don't know they are the wrong guy. I agreed to meet someone who was a member and well-verified. We had chatted for a while, had swapped numbers and everything was set. He never showed even though I had heard from him that day to confirm. I thought it was a guarantee.

That's what personally means: personal to me. If people get upset over someone changing their mind that's personal to them.

Didn't realise we all had to agree and by doing so it meant only my way counted: well I never. Excuse me whilst I go and bawl my eyes out as some nonentity on the internet disagrees with me stating my opinion.

When they go silent before a meet, when they don't show.

I don't do too badly - had very few in the years I've been doing this. That's why I like a bit of a chat, see verifications, photo verified, etc. If they hide veris and won't show them even with asking that is entirely their choice. But those could be old veris and only by webcam or phone (when the site used to use phone veris). Unless I see they actually meet and have done fairly recently I don't bother. If they only have on picture I don't bother - they could have nicked it. If they are not photo verified I don't bother. If I don't get a mobile I don't bother. I could go on and on - but generally this s out the vast majority of timewasters.
