Last night i was asked to go round next door to check on a kitten that was scared and winging,

when i finally got it from under the wardrobe 2 odd hours later it was starving and shivering so i managed to feed it some ham

the neighbour's friend who was given the cat was 18 she cant even look after herself let alone a cat!!!!

i was fuming that she didnt even try coax it with food.

in the end how scared it was i brought it here to be safe and still here now

am i just way to stupid or just helping a pet in need?

nothing wrong with caring and helping a pet in need ... but don't give it any more ham especially if it's processed ham.

you acted in a caring and responsible manner and no you were not just soft.

What is worrying is that some people, and I like to think a very tiny minority, that are incapable of looking after an animal can be left to bring up or look after children.

What is more a judge can ban people from having animals if they are cruel!

I realise what I have just said is going to polarise opinion but what is wrong with robust debate, surely better to discuss than ignore issues

Kids of today are just as capable as kids of yesterday.

Good job the kitten got looked after.

That bit made me smile, there's always something special about watching a kitten or puppy eat, you're a kind person and the world needs more of them x
