Male and female views please?

M loves my tummy but I think he may be slightly biased, lol. I am scared about meets in case people find it a real turn off . I understand that nobody is perfect etc. etc. but this is the one part of my body I seem to have a real hang up about. Not going to be offended if someone says 'urgh/yuk!'. Should I mention it on our profile??

There a picture of your belly on your profile and it looks fine to me. Wouldn't worry about it

Everyone has something they don't like and usually they are more noticable to yourself than others. You look great on your pics, I wouldn't mention it on your profile.

You have photos of yourself (which look fine to me btw) I don't see the point of mentioning it on your profile.

I have a mummy tummy but am on a diet so hoping to shift the worst of it, luckily I avoided stretch marks.

You look fine to me!! Xx

i dont like stretch marks they look like scars, but in one of my pictures you can see them, they look ugly.

i usualy keep my top on when i have sex, but one man i see tells me to take it off as he isnt bothered by them.

matt lucas has got stretch marks, i still fancy him though.

Thanks everyone, I have slimmed down but I know that no matter how much work I do I can't fix the marks and never fully lose the belly, suppose it's just frustrating really! xx

To be honest I think most people on here are realistic and expect meets to be less than perfect, we expect to see, scare, stretch marks, imperfection etc because we are every day people, I think most would be more surprised if they met someone who didn't have the wears and tears of life than if they did

I have had 3 kids so have stretch marks and id never had anyone run off screaming at the sight of them yet

Completely understand, I have felt the same about mine. In my experience I have found that if you don't care they won't, be confidant and proud your body did amazing things no need to be embarrassed or self-conscious!

OP you seem to have a flatter tummy than I do and I don't have children!

I think you look lovely. Any decent man out there would know that not all women have supermodel perfect bodies (in fact very few do!). And if that's what they're expecting then they're morons anyway.

I'm sure I'll build up confidence after a meet or two, nice to hear others feel the same, I think confidence might be key here and I'll have to work on that. Thanks everyone, nice to hear from 'experienced' people!

You look gorgeous!

I'm a size 18 now after loosing 4 stone and I have the faint white ones, which look worse when I have a tan.

I keep my stockings and suspenders on to make me feel better but one mam took them off and kissed my belly I hid my face in embarrassment but he genuinely thought my body was great!

We all have bits we dont like but others dont see them the same way! Don't worry about it and enjoy

Thanks! Like I said nice to hear from someone who has experience. Mine are white but are in no way faint, they were much worse once upon a time but ten years on they have faded but are very 'deep'.....wish I could think of a better word to describe them!

I am sure there are many people on here with the same problem, including myself, if you are self conscious then just wear a suspender belt or Basque and make it into a sexy costume where the bits you are self conscious about are hidden. and dressing up for fun is always a turn on. x x

Missed this, mine look like scars and they cover my tummy, I'm sure a nice basque may sort me out until I build up my so far lacking confidence!

You look gorgeous! We can't see anything wrong at all and anyone who looks and does, doesn't deserve you!

If you do have stretch mark or scars, your body is the roadmap of who you are, having kids is part of who you are. There have been all sorts of posts on here about various "imperfections" that women (mostly) seem to have. Believe me, we are considering falsifying our ages to fit your criteria!!! (OK, we would have to nick some pictures off the 'Net too, but small price to pay!)

Nottingham/and everywhere my location says i am ;)

I was always raised if it suits the wearer bugger the starer.. That being said as many others above have stated we all have hang ups.

The majority only we know about but still make us conscious enough to be upfront first, when in reality the other party aren't that bothered when they know..

I found this out last week over an issue, the issue was in me. They didn't care but once it was out I felt better, and now I'm not bothered.

As long as your happy is what counts

Loads and loads of people have them. You look fantastic!

As said wear a basque or similar until you trust the people you are meeting enough to not have to worry any more.

Bio oil is supposed to be good for stretch marks. Would you like us to rub some in for you? lol

I think no matter what your shape, we are never satisfied.

Some want big boobs if they have small ones, smaller ones if they too big. Flatter stomachs, Longer legs, longer hair.I know very few women totally 100% happy with how they look.

I used to be very conscious of my height and weight, but have learnt, to some extent, to accept me for what I am.

Ok I'm no supermodel, never professed to be, but I've someone who appreciates me, bumps and all and he does make me feel good about myself.

Learning to love yourself is a difficult lesson. But do it and enjoy your body and life

I have quite a few stretch marks on my tummy and the tops of my legs. Where they are quite old they are shiny rather than red but I still don't like them or my jelly belly.

Find wearing basques or corsets make me feel more sexy and confident.

Remove the legal notice crap - it's worthless. Unless you are really going to pursue someone through the courts - probably in foreign jurisdictions...

As for the 'mummy tummy' - I can't see one in the public photos. In any case - it wouldn't bother me in the slightest!

I have a road map of stretch marks on my belly! Although they've faded over the 25 years they'll never go. I don't even think about them, I go on holiday and flaunt them in a bikini and happily get naked in the jacuzzi at a club. They are me, anyone has a problem, it's their problem, not mine!

They don't bother me at all, I don't even take it in that the lady has any. I admire every part of a lady, stretch marks etc are all part of been human.

I even have some stretch marks (small but still there) on my inner thighs from sports and the constant over stretching.
