ok I know this is more than just a sex site or supposed to be but seems more and more singles looking for other singles.

I'm thinking a site for sex mad singles who want to meet their soul mate would be good. What do you think?

Personally there's absolutely no gap in this market to manoeuvre. For what it's worth this is prob the better of the 'sex dating' sites. POF I suppose would be more mainstream, same purpose. I don't know.

Without meaning to get too deeply into sociology, I think the whole singles dynamic is changing.

Many singles are looking for multiple partners; whether polyamorous, open relationships or FWBs. It is a lot less about finding "the one" and more about finding "a few someones"

Whilst I'm fully comfortable in leading a poly lifestyle, many may be found to lack the maturity of emotions to handle this. Bear in mind, I'm not in the category of wanting to have my cake and eat it; rather I want a partner to explore herself and others fully. That is more the definition of an open relationship but I feel that finding suitable people could then lead on to polyamory / coupled swinging.

My reply may not seem to answer the OP question but it is intended to show that singledom is no longer a simple state where monogamy is the only goal.

Don't confuse the two for me. Here for friendly sexy meetings with likeable people.

If I want to date I'd use Match or POF or even, old fashioned, approach someone n person!

I appreciate many people use this site the way its supposed to be. but many don't. I'm on a dating site too for the purposes of dating but just struck me it might be good to have a dating site for people who have sex as a priority in their relationship list of wants.

That's why it's important to be clear and detailed in your profile text and messages!!

Gives people a clear picture and freedom of choice as to whether to communicate or not!

The site is there to be used as people see fit! Not how anyone dictates just because they have a different agenda!

They did. People who mentioned the words "intimate encounter" in what they are looking for. They were removed from the site without warning. But at the time it was part of the sites options. I also think people were getting confused as they were using that and saying they wanted a relationship. So if you messaged someone who had both. Other members tended to block you as part of their message filters.

Ime here rather than a dating site for 2 reasons. Reason number 1 ime not looking for a date, ime married, i love my wife of 31 years, she just doesnt want sex anymore but i do, ime here for sex. Number 2 my son is on the dating sites so not wanting to cause any embarrassment ime here, looking for grown up people who understand how good sex is and who are maybe in the same situation. Ime not looking to leave my wife for another woman, just to have sexy fun. I dont consider myself cheating on her either as she has said i can have sex with others as long as i keep it discreet.

my point exactly if you met a female from here and turned out after a few meets she wanted more than that its not fair on you. You've been perfectly clear but I know lots of women on here who are looking to meet someone for a relationship yet theyre prifile gives no indication of that. I appreciate people use this site fir their own gain but its fabswingers. it should do what it says on the tin!

I do make it clear in my profile that ime married, however this puts a lot of people off, it has been suggested to me that i lie about being married, i wont do that cos i believe in honesty on here, the one couple i met through here said they respect me for my honesty, if only there was more like them on here

^^^ this for me too. Im not on a dating site or any other site for that matter. I'm here to meet sexy young men that I can have a laugh and some adult fun with.

If I wanted to date I'd try the old fashioned way of getting out there and meeting people face to face.

Having said that, it would take someone pretty special to convince me to go on a date now. Once bitten and all that
