Manchester and that's all you need to know

I've been away for long time and I've just noticed a change on peoples profiles.

It shows you the true figure of verified posts and the last time one was left. I love it... as it helps me decide if I would like to go forward with the person. Plus it makes me question why some of the posts are hidden as I can clearly see the true figure.

Don't get me wrong people can hide whatever they want, but when you have amnesia there's an issue.

.. or sometimes there are multiples from the same person/cpl and they just want to show the most recent.

Quite a few of the guys who have verified me have left the site, so do not show the information on my profile.

The most upto date one's are on my profile and that is what matters. x

I did think that, but when we've had a conversation and you claim to only have been with two people then I point out the thirty verifications....the mind suddenly remembers, tee hee.

OP - for every person who doesn't display all their veris, there is a different and equally valid reason. Other than someone blatantly lying to you (and don't assume because, like us, they don't display the summary, that they are automatically hiding something) who are any of us to question which, if any, veris someone chooses to display..?

A verification doesnt only depict sexual meets but meetings of a casual nature !

..ie several people have met me at Kestrels and have given me a veri ..even tho they may have just passed the time of day with me or sat with me in the hot tub and chatted... Or perhaps met for lunch.

So you can still be misled

Or maybe they attended a social and chatted to 30 different people and all of them verified them as genuine, would you really show all 30 veri's for the same social?

I thought veri's were to show that the person/s is not either fake or a timewaster, not for people to make judgements on their suitability or lack of. Hardly a good way to judge someone imo.

Everyone is different just because some had a good time is not a grantee that you will.

I also find it a bit odd the some people will only meet verified people? okay no want a time waster but it is a catch 22. If you only meet verified people how can they become verified?

Why take the risk, when someone else will...

Maybe their time to play is extremely limited so they would prefer to meet verified people in the hope that they will be less likely to be let down.

Everyone has preferences, their choice. Sometimes others don't understand those preferences, doesn't change their preferences though.

True each to their own as they say. It is not a big problem right now but it does not help new members on the site. Still that is life.

because "some" people are of the mindset that all verifications are play verifications, which I am not sure there is a way around...

but heck, assumptions assumptions and be damned anyway in some peoples eyes.....
