Your last gig ?

What band did you last go to see ?

And how would you rate them ?

Were they as good as expected ?

I saw Ash last night, playing at The Tiv near to me, which can hold about 1000 people

They can still rock with the best of them, and for a three piece outfit have a great sound

Back stage passes in no way influenced my critic

8/10

I think the last gig I paid to get in to was The Wonderstuff ELGM 20th anniversary gig in Birmingham in about 2009 (Mr Crystal 'Darcy' Wheels will probably furnish me with exact date as he went too ).

It was The Stuffies, it was a celebration gig, it was rammed- it couldn't have been any better

Think I'm on about 10 gigs including the secret affair and the big day out. He's still his usual grumpy arsed self a lot but does seem to have mellowed with age --and maybe the loss of half the original band

It has been know for him to smile though- wonder if its anything to do with his rather tasty mrs

I used to see them whenever they played in London as my brother was a friend of the bass player. Dingwalls in Camden was a particular favourite. Do you remember the welsh band that supported them a lot , the darling buds ?

I've got a ticket for that, I've seen him twice before and Pink Floyd 3 times. I'd love to see them perform together, Gilmour and Mason would struggle to pass themselves off as floyd on their own.

Last gig was Glastonbury so Mumford and sons was the last band I've seen, a hour or so of my life I'll never get back, a friend was desperate to see them though. Faux folk. The atmosphere for the Rolling Stones was amazing though, anything after that was going to seem a bit dull.

Yes I most definately there. Also come up there for the HUP gig wich really was ace.

Miles is the only original member left though Mark Mccarthy And erica have been in the band for best part of a decade now though.

Miles has mellowed considerably, being loved up with erica clearly agrees with him. He also states that in it's 25 year history this is the best line up and certainly the most focused. I'm just glad that they are writing new material and not just doing greatest hits anymore

Last gig was Huey (from the Fun Lovin Criminals) and the New Yorkers. It was the most chilled out gig ever, just a bunch of life long friends having a jam. I only went as I had won tickets

The last paid for gig was Halestorm in February-ish. It was awesome. Lzzy Hale is the very epitome of a rock chick with a voice second only to Amy Lee
