However, I've just had a crab paste buttie and it has left me disappointed. I'm sure it used to taste much nicer

That's an easy one brown sauce only no one in there right mind has tomato sauce with egg that's just wrong WRONG!! I tell ya!!

I did consider cutting the sarnie in half and putting red on one 1/2 and brown on the other to stop this degenerating into a brawl....
