Why do some find it hard to be happy for others .?

Was reading some magazines and some things people say are so nasty .. Loads slated Gwyneth Paltrow having a luxury boat trip to Indonesia costing a lot .... Well why not she and Chris both done well in life its nice to have a lovely family holiday . And Denise Welch slated over her wedding god its up to her .... Not sure why people can't just let others get on with their lives without getting nasty on sites like face and others... People do well and have a good life and some can't stand it ...

i dont know, i am happy for others most of the time, unless i dont like the person i suppose.

you expect to hear about celebrities getting married and going on expensive holidays anyway, some people dont like it if they think other people are showing off though.

Jealousy mostly i would say , its very surprising when u see posts on face and here how some folks actually have any friends as they are so judgemental , live and let live , the world must be a lonely place when they are so perfect .

I fail to understand how anyone in 21st century UK can have so little in their own lives that they need the lives of others to bring them happiness.

The Great British class system and one upmanship may play a part. Not sure what either 'class' they are from middle perhaps ? But maybe them being successful has elevated their status too much for some people.

Anyway she's stunning and his band are fantastic live, regardless of it being my taste in music of not.

If you see marrying someone who is the product of a dysfunctional family and who has an adulterous father, then following in the footsteps of a woman whose death was at best 'unexplained' and who will spend the rest of her life being followed around by people who want to make money out of photographs or her and her weans - especially when they do something 'naughty' as "doing well in life", then we may have different definitions of doing well in life.

Well doing well can be just being happy ... and getting on with things how you wish .
