Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

I travel a lot for my job and always try and arrange a meet when I am away. Those lovely big hotel beds are just sooooo inviting.

southend

I occasionally move around for work. I was working away last week, had loads of people offering to come keep me company.

But when you are staying in staff accommodation, and it's above a 17 room Premier Inn, it's sometimes best to keep work and play separate!!

Guess it is handy for those that do travel and want to make the most of the rooms they have...plus it can get lonely! I have met one or two guys that have been travelling to the area, but only when prearranged, not on the night...I can rarely do last minute at the best of times but something about messages from guys 'in a hotel room now' comes across to me as they've been let down or are just looking to pass the time with anyone that'll answer

I travel a lot! And yes I like to meet when away - both for fun and socials!

It's rare i'll visit a particular place just the once and in certain areas I've managed to find people I've met several times!

It's clearly explained on my profile, I never have any expectancy of arranging anything and generally post a meet request days or weeks before travelling if there's nobody to contact from previous visits.

Never seen it as a problem - and neither has anyone I've met!

Guess it comes down to preference, like everything else!

I travel to most of the UKs major cities several times a year- as do a lot of the posts above do . Always wonder why "I'm in your area " is often greeted in such a negative way

The meter is definitely staying on for that job.

Truro

I'm currently sitting in a hotel room in East London.

Should have been sitting in a hotel room in Scotland but they swapped my job

Whenever I travel with work I do really want to meet but as the OP has said, it's just not the case unfortunately, for me anyway
