"Discuss "

Why use "discuss" on a forum...surely that's the point of a forum?

I'm assuming you're talking about the stages of learning.

There is a preponderance of unconscious incompetence in the forum on occasion. Sadly it rarely moves past that stage.

Would I rather be smart and realise I'm inadequate with much to learn and a life of constantly trying to achieve more, or a life of being blissfully unaware of my self worth and limitations ? Good question though I've never really thought about it

I am convinced that stupid and incompetent people are actually unable to recognise the stupidity and incompetence in themselves. I think it's a genetic fault.

I disagree. I have seen many examples of bad behaviour caused by stupid and/or incompetent people recognising their limits, especially when they meet someone less stupid/incompetent. But then I do work for the Civil Service
