We can now happily announce that we are pregnant. A big surprise for both of us as we did not think we could have children due to various reasons. Happy, excited, a bit scared the sickness has been on another level but calming down now. Please share your pregnancy stories how hard easy was it for you? Any strange cravings?

Much love a very happy

MissD and Silk x x

London

Congratulations!

I've had four pregnancies all different. I don't think it's helpful hearing "horror" stories, you know the basics, concentrate on the happy event.

I craved vanilla ice cream, sent my husband to the garage to get some (no late night shops then) and Guiness, can't stand either now!

I've had 3 babies,2 the 'natural' way and my last c-section. pregnancies different for us all don't listen to the horror stories!! At the end of the day its in there and its coming out 1 way or the other!!

My only advice is Make the most of it but enjoy each other as a couple before the baby comes xxx

Congratulations,

My little bit of advice is don't let the midwife boss you about, your body your baby, labour is scary enough without the midwife adding to it, well that was for the 1st, the 2nd I was more confident and more comfortable.

I craved Garlic bread when I was pregnant with my boy, ate a baguette a day and fruit with my daughter.

totally agree with this comment about midwives, they can be bullies.... follow your gut instinct, a mums feelings are never wrong, even if they are first time mums
