After a long period of celibate mourning, I realised I still had sexual needs but no desire to form another relationship having already been blessed to share part of my life in the company of my one true soul-mate...

Swinging simply meets those sexual needs,,,

A Swinging lifestyle is not something I would have purposely sought…

My crossdressing and bisexual side are simply throw-backs to my teenage years when like many I experimented with same sex activity and gender blurring,,,,

I would have never have considered crossdressing or same sex activity again, had it not been for the circumstances that led me to finding swinging as a suitable outlet for my ongoing sexual urges….

I guess if I’m being totally honest….

I would say I try and placate my feeling of guilt at having sexual needs beyond those I had with my soul-mate by adopting a swinging persona that is so detached from the person I was in a loving relationship……

First ventured onto the scene about 30 years ago but being only 18 I didn't see it as swinging ... it was just some older couples who liked me and my mate fucking the mrs at the sauna, went on to travel the north west and midlands to all the old dogging hotspots. Then went vanilla for many years before asking my wife "have you seen these ads at the back of loot ?" ... swinging then till we split 4 years ago and no regrets. Swung with gf after that and regretted that totally BUT nothing changed because of swinging. Not sure if I would continue swinging if I found THE ONE again.

I stumbled across another site when I was on the wine one night, about four years ago

Been on and off a few times. Met some lovely men as well as some numpties but you learn as you go along.

I wanted sex but not a relationship. And I didn't want to do the whole thing of picking up guys in bars just for sex because then that just adds a whole other layer of complication and having to have that 'I just want no strings sex' conversation. So I'm hereand don't plan on going anywhere anytime soon.

I did have a break for about 2 years though because other life stuff just got too busy. Then I jumped back in because I got to the point of almost being revirginalised... yes it's a word. It is, honest.

Quite a mixture of reasons, but it seems that everyone would give it all up tomorrow if they found Mr/Mrs right. I just wonder if the sex did start to decline in that relationship whether people would feel the need to have that variety back in their lives?
