Over the rainbow, under the bridge

Loving the weather but , my god, it's hot. The sunshine really uplifts the spirit but, my god it's hot. Makes me feel in a holiday mood but ,MY GOD, it's hot!!

Ok maybe I'm moaning a bit.

I am with you on that, loving the weather, wish it was like this all of the time, but my god, because we are not used to it, it feels so damn hot.

Still, its a good excuse to open a beer - if ever you needed an excuse of course.

southampton-ish

When I volenteered to make a cake and 70 cupcakes for the local preschool I did not bank on the heat wave... Still have 50 to bake and then attempt to roll out icing without it just drooping and sticking to everything...deep breathes....

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

We're having a heat wave

A tropical heat wave

The temperature's rising

It isn't surprising

She certainly can, can can

It's bloody hot. Half the country is on a level 3 heatwave warning. Heat gets you faster than cold. Take care.

I've just cooked a curry and now having to have a sit down outside before I even contemplate eating it as wayyyy too hot.

That would be my idea of a nightmare job. After around 15/20 minutes my skin begins to burn. It would cost me a fortune in sun cream. If I ever get stuck outside with no shade or cream I always have a brolly handy in my bag. And, yes, I have used it for that reason. No matter what the daft looks I get. I value my health more.
