"I never use the web client for gmail just Mac and iOS mail clients so I never see all that shite." So he gets all his email scanned and lost by apple first .. hehe I have to say, I have been in IT for 30+ years and Apple have always had the worst email systems. Though I have to admit the new Microsoft web outlook is soon going to take that title the way it is going!

I agree it's been weak in the past but the OS X 10.8 mail client is waaaaay better than Outlook on the Mac. Thankfully they give us the choice at work what we connect to exchange with so I binned Outlook fast, it's clunky, bloated shite. Re: Outlook for web I was reading yesterday that after the initial hype and marketing campaign it has lost 20% of users in the last month. Going back down to 6th from 4th most used mail service.

Re: Outlook for web I was reading yesterday that after the initial hype and marketing campaign it has lost 20% of users in the last month. Going back down to 6th from 4th most used mail service." I use MS Exchange and MS Outlook (Pc Version) and I love it.. Though I do use a lot of the many features it has so that is probably why. If I just wanted a quick, basic and straight forward email system then I would not use it. It would like using a bus to just travel to work and back. I think the problem with a lot of the email systems now is that that they are loading them up with way too many features, as 90% of people will never use these features so all it does is slow down and overcomplicate them.
