BBQ? Why?

I love a BBQ as much as the next person and they are great on a summers day (or snowy day) but I was wondering what the obsession is with eating outside when it's hot?

There's loads of insects about, flies, mozzies, ants...

Then when it gets dark the moths are about.

Why do you like eating outside in the Summer?

i just find it refreshing, its either a simplistic time with my daughter or a party atmosphere with close friends or family.

ive spent a while to make my garden a great outdoor space, the smell of flowers, i enjoy the butterflies, the breeze. Lighting plays a big part of it and just feel that it looks better in an evening sunset..

Its the Epitome of Summer.. Food always tastes better, the wine always crispier and when you get the cool breeze

In my case i do it to wind the neighbours up they hate it they complain all the time because i put tunes on and the kids run wild

on the other hand we just enjoy the simplicity of it and the kids love it the eldest especially likes to take over, she's a great cook

It tastes good, you can invite friends and family, it is easy and uncomplicated and just so lovely to be outside in the sunshine.

Use Citroenella candles. The flies hate it and stay away.

I honestly believe the food and drink taste better outside than indoors.
