I've bought some hair clips and I'm buggered if I can get the blooming things off the card let alone in me hair

yep that helps getting off card but not with how I get them in me hair

try cutting away cardboard with scissors

are they the ones that you press in middle

to open them if so press really hard as they may have got bit stiff as they not been used. (stiff as in siezed up)

If its them ones, when you try to snap em shut in your hair, they cause frigging skull fractures... Bloody hurt

it's taken me 2 years to grow it , I'm not getting it cut now. Especially as I've worked out how the blooming clips work
