Brought up heathen

Studied for years as a jehovahs' witness, was knocking on doors and nearly baptized

Officially a mormon, but was forbidden by my ex to go and get baptized, so obviously, I did and once he said "I will support you if it makes you happy" I never went again haha

Religion makes no odds in my life....I'm just of the opinion that we should all love one another....be 'kin nice!

If I was forced to choose one I'd become a Pastafarian (church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster) as its just as valid as every other made up religion with the added bonus of really pissing off the devout god botherers

I don't believe in religion. I think religion breeds intolerance and promotes segregation.

I just want everyone to get along and love each other.

There’s more to it than this.... but here’s my quick interpretation

Basically there's no belief in an after-life..... its just about going through life developing the living-soul to a point where you do the right things for the right reasons guided by the god-like morality within yourself...

If that makes any sense!

Kinda..

I believe in the earth we live on, the space around us.. I believe in doing my part for the world and helping the world to live..

I don't feel I need to worship anyone or that anyone created the world.

Religion to me is just ancient laws laid down before mass communication and policing etc.. The only certain thing in life is death and what better way to make people follow the laws than to make them believe they will burn in a hell etc..

Besides I find most who claim to be devote religous people still distort the beliefs for their own inner morals

I refuse to even consider any religion who's major deity, either through this divine teachings or by the interpretation of his teachings on earth, allows his divine and devout followers to subjugate, persecute, kill, mame or destroy another man based upon his or her practices or beliefs.

...and shame upon any deity who would allow his disciples to do that shit in his / her name.

I'm catholic but I believe if there is a god then he is a complete asshole to let people suffer for the greater good. When the people who are suffering might have been the greater good.

My religion is Christian.

The denomination I am part of is Methodist.

Methodists are very inclusive and easy going - we even allow booze these days!

And the first of the major denominations to accept ordained women (we don't have bishops so that problem is moot) sex outside marriage and homosexuality.
