Came round the other day at one of the many government establishments I work in...Asking that when we order a Black Coffee we should ask for a white coffee without the milk...Has the world gone topsy turvy or am I just an incensitive git?...

a Primark shoebox in Leicester

That’s ridiculous…. surely to have true racial equality it should be ‘a coffee without milk’ and drop the reference to ‘white’ as being superior coffee appearance. If they wanted positive discrimination then people who want a white coffee should be made to ask for a black coffee with milk.

"I am very serious and was told this memo was going out to all establishments with a canteen and mess facillity...Spose they were getting fed up with me saying I wanted my coffee black and strong like me men...But Yes is serious memo.. "

Sarah Miles, the actress famous (amongst other things) for for drinking her own pee, was finishing a meal in a New York restaurant when her waiter, a powerfully built black man, asked he how she took her coffee.

"I like my coffee the way I like my waiters" she answered.

"I'm sorry" he replied "we don't do gay coffee"

You don't wanna believe everything you read on a bit of paper headed MEMO. Even HMG has a sense of humour (sometimes)

"It's like the christmas nativity banned in some schools in case it offends ethnic minorities ... "

I can think of lots of really good reasons for banning school nativity plays but the risk of offending minorities ain't one of them.

If they don't like it... don't fookin go to a show that has an obvious Christian bias.

Easy anonymous targets for the right wing press and their gullible readership.

Thia is more likely to be a joke Memo from an employee, otherwise it would be sent as a General Government Memo to all civil servants throughout the country....I think people need to see through certain things for what they are.....High jinx amongst workmates or malicious gossip.

Maybe Elvis dictated the Memo and it was typed by Lord Lucan?

So McDonalds gets Memos from within the government? Memos for Civil Servants are not circulated amongst the private sector.....think about it

No -

And I suspect that people are being asked to order coffee without milk.

Not white coffee without milk,

How about ordering from a colour chart? It should work!

I once made a cup of tea for someone who requested it to be the colour of a Rich Tea biscuit.

I plonked it on the table and said, take it or leave it, as that's how I have made it!

The git was driving me nuts with his whinging about every thing during a camping weekend. Never again will I tell peeps where I am camping alone in future, as I would rather be alone with the dog instead of some nutters!!!
