A lot of Firefighters KIA just lately.

Brave souls with more bottle than me, shamefully.

RIP.

Two teenage girls have been arrested in relation to Hunt's death. I hope this doesn't add extra trauma for his family.

Yes, you have got it wrong big time!!

If you are for real, then it is crassly insincere and wholly unjustifiable and insensitive in its content.

I'll add my sincere condolences to the family of the fireman killed in action.

No that's how I read it too. Disgusting post IMHO.

RIP Steve Hunt.

And may this government who happily vilify firefighters as overpaid and lazy remember this is the risk they all take everyday.

really? wasnt the way i meant it at all.. just saying that every soul who passes on deserves respect. I dont actually know the story as im not from up Manchester and dont watch the main news. Theres a local girl down here who died along with her 2 sons up at Dartmoor so was just my way of saying that everyone who dies is a tragic loss.

I'll keep it zipped then. Appologies

I really hope that for the sake of the family this wasn't arson - it would be horrific if it is; but the speed in which the police have made arrests is quite swift.

Utterly shocking.
