in the interests section where you check what your looking for, for instance, sm oral watersports etc. how come they dont have dom or sub categorys.

no, you are correct, but sub and dom are all parts of swinging, i didnt mean to imply only sub and dom, but they seem to go hand in hand reading some threads.

There is a cross over but it is nowhere as common as hand in hand implies.

I'm sorry but I completely disagree with you. There are some people, I count myself as one of them, who cross the lifestyles over. But they do not go hand in hand.

Hang on a second - no one mentioned beating! BDSM and swinging are two separate lifestyle choices that some people choose to allow to cross over. There is no definite rule to say that everyone in the fet scene is a swinger and vice versa.
