One of my rules in life is never to drink alone. I think that it's one of the loneliest things I can do

Anyone else think the same?

I'm asking as I could do with an ice cold beer about now

I'd have an ice cold beer in the garden on my own. I do occasionally drink at home on my own but I'd never drink to get d*unk alone that Inwould see as a problem.

I generally don't but I've just been out at lunchtime and bought two bottles of wine. I fear this is not my most sensible idea.

It is very rare I will have a drink in the house alone I have it in for when people come over and I'll have one then. But never alone and never one to help you sleep it just keeps me awake...

As I live alone enjoy a couple of pints after work, I do tend to drink alone. I can't imagine many landlords would be chuffed to see me quaffing a few pints of ma homebrew in their pub

I feel the same way. It's not a rule but I only have a drink on my own on odd occasions and usually with a meal or after.

Plus side, it cuts down my drinking overall as sometimes it means I go months without a drop!

If its a burden to you, hop on the next train, we're right near the main Eastcoast line. We will of course assist you with this problem when you get here
