I regularly use it, as it can be cooked straight from the freezer and so save time. It's cheap, low fat and it's there for vegetarian friends who may pop in for lunch..... and I'm a meat eater.

Bridgend

I use a lot of Quorn too, none of us are vegetarian but it's so versatile and the kids can't even tell the difference. Sat down to a fab quorn curry with basmati rice earlier mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

My daughter is a vegetarian so buy it for her. The mince I can just stomach oh and their "meatballs" but the "chicken" fillets: tasteless. No matter what you add to them they still taste like cardboard.

The filamentous fungus Fusarium venenatum, more precisely a mould, was discovered in 1967. After an extensive screening process,[5] it was isolated as the best candidate. In 1980, RHM was given permission to sell mycoprotein for human consumption after a ten-year evaluation program.

AND quorn was born

Don't see the point as I am not a vegetarian.

I eat loads of mushrooms in my diet already.
