Ok so I have recently downloaded snap chat and not got a clue how it works is it just for people in your phone book??having also used whatsapp and kik and found those easy to use I just don't get the fascination with it?

Anyone else find it weird??

You really just need to add friends. You can send people images or movies that are 1-10 sec long. And the images cannot be saved. Its great for sending nudes haha

Yep there's already a huge thing of 'caught on snap chat' type images circling round Facebook etc.

On iPhone press the on/off switch on the top of the phone and the big round button at the bottom at the same time.

On android phones its usually the same....power button and "home" button for 2 secs together..the screen will flash and if sound is enabled you will get the camera sound abd a notification area message of "saving screenshot"

Facebook I rarely use. I despise it but it's handy as my family are so far apart and mostly abroad.

Twitter I use for naughty stuff only... my teen daughter uses snapchat but I won't be getting it lol
