This time in the right place

Inspired by Jordan's "I can solve a Rubik's cube in 3 mins"

Is there anything on your CV which is total bollocks? Be honest....

(heck, if your potential employer is reading this, your CV is the least of your problems )

All of my CV is accurate, but may not necessarily relate to what is intimated ie, in the hobbies section my enjoyment of computing really means I enjoy typing on forums on a swinging site and shopping online for new clothes and shoes.

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

My CV is accurate, honest and unembellished. I am known, my career is set out on the web and I've been around too long to add made up stuff to my CV.

I have tried stripping stuff out to get jobs at lower levels but I can't wipe my whole internet history.

I worked for a large government department a while ago, was told at one interview that my CV would look better if I left that off!

The amount of scooping up after people I have to do at work is directly proportionate to the amount of bull shit they put on their CV.

..however, I find if you put lots of weird letters after your name that shouldn't fuxxing be there, that makes you sound more important.

Same here, not that I need a CV now that I run my own business (but ya never know....!)

When I had a 'real' job and interviewed staff, it was pretty easy to out the ones who had told 'porkies' on their CV's.. it's just like catching out fibbers on here really... they all make a mistake in the end.... and the story falls flat on it's face.

You would have to be pretty stupid to lie for my job.

You either know what your talking about or you don't.

If you don't. ..it shows.

My brother has been told to remove his masters degree (by a recruitment consultant)from his cv for some management jobs as the people he might work for would feel intimidated?!?
