The Wire is VERY good but requires serious hardcore watching. And possibly a translator.

I've never seen a single minute of Downton Abbey.

I had to be persuaded to start watching The Wire by mates who leant me the box sets. Thought "why do I need another programme about cops and villains".

Glad I finally pressed play. It was utterly brilliant - amazing actors and characters.

Most of what is quoted, in fact it's quicker for me to type what I have watched.

I saw Luther for the first time last week and really enjoyed it so am going to catch up with the other 2 series.

My son is an avid Game of thrones fan, has the books too. He did tell me it was rude and I promptly banned him from watching it and reading the books. Of course he won't take any notice as he's 24

" @ Dexter...you are seriously missing out people!"

I was told to watch Dexter by my university lecturer a long time ago. Still haven't got round to it. Only just started watching True Blood buckling under the pressure from MissD to watch it.

Also haven't watched Prison Break and Downton Abbey.

I thought The Sopranos was the best television series I have ever watched. But the Wire surpassed it. Deep on so many levels.

I tend to save mine up, so I am not restricted to turn on my television at a certain time on a certain day as I don't watch it much either.

I'm more or less the same. I can find any program online, but for some unknown reason I now pay £30 a month for sky.

We only watched Prison Break very recently after a friend was shocked we had never seen it.

Downloaded all 4 seasons and were addicted from the first episode, watched all 4 seasons in about a month.

Lots we have never seen, to name a few:

Lost

24

Dexter

Spooks

Game of Thrones

Downton Abbey

Made in Chelsea (and similar shows)

CSI
