Some people/couples ask for "professional people only" Has anyone ever got turned down because they don't have the right profession?

Only when I applied for the job of a brain surgeon, evidently they wanted a more professional qualification than my 1 day first aid course

I got rejected for gynaecologist as they wabted full time i wanted part time they asked why part time i said just want to keep my hand in

I've met all types of people on here from paramedics to unemployed, and I wouldn't say I have found a pattern of people with 'good' jobs or jobs at all making better meets

In our profession we meet everyone from dustbin men to government ministers, once your clothes are off everyone is the same...end of story.

To just ask for other professionals does seem a shame because horray Henrys can be worse than the ASBO crowd sometimes, it depends on your confidence and how secure you are to how far out of your box you'll venture.

We don't care if the person is a professional or not, but we do like a certain level of intelligence. Their initial mail is usually a good indicator. We don't reply to the "wanna fuk" messages.

I'm still amazed at the inverted snobbery of some people. How people choose their playmates is none of my business.

In almost every thread people talk about the social aspects of swinging and their "standards". If you meet in clubs and go dogging of course you're not going to care who scratches your itch. However, if you're more "discerning" you wish to play with "like minded people".

I don't have "professional" on my profile as I don't think it's necessary, however I wouldn't besmirch others for doing so: live and let live hey!

I agree with everything you say. The class thing works both ways and people judging each other because of the job they do is ludicrous whether you're judging them for describing themselves as professional or for any other job.

Like you we have met loads of people we would never have come into contact with otherwise from every walk of life and its only reinforced the opinion we already held that financial standing and job status has absolutely no bearing on a persons intelligence, personailty and sexiness.

To be fair, I think people use the word 'professional', to mean educated, intelligent, like-minded etc. It's just a form of shorthand, which people use to try to indicate who they're attracted to.

But I particularly love the profiles who spell it "proffesional"

Don't care about jobs/status etc. etc.

but people are not all the same - clothes on and off - they're very, very different and it's perfectly understandable that people seek out those they'd be most comfortable with.

I met a lovely guy a few weeks back who was educated at Eton. Not met a nicer, more unassuming and relaxed guy. Turned out to be a phenomenal meet.

the whole professionalism thing is bullshit, im a housewife and a mummy too a "disabled" little boy, fella worked his since leaving education with a degree in engineering..... but now he doesnt work he isnt a professional according too some people, its a very fickle place!

Personally I think there's far more reverse snobbery these days. Be seen to achieve, be affluent or talk about certain mediums such as art and you're branded a snob by quite a few. Good luck to those who achieve, only the sad compare themselves to others.
