You know when the other halves dad has accepted you when he lets you try his special sauce and pickled onions.

The suace was nice and not bitter, but had a spicy kick.

I knew I was accepted by my ex mother in law when she gave me her spaghetti recipe - yes she was Italian and I never use dolmio or ragu..now my son can also make a lovely spaghetti sauce...
