Too many verifications? (A question for the ladies)

I've often considered verifications to be an essential part of a good single male profile, given the sheer number of timewasters and fakes in swinging, but sometimes wonder how many is too many? How many verifications would ladies consider to be a good indicator for a guy to be worth considering a meet with, and how many would be too many and perhaps put you off?

depends on the individual but my mrs will not go with anyone who has too many veris suppose the same reason why most people don't buy a car with 27 owners as it could have been thrashed and abused and somnthings wrong with it haha

I don't think you can have to many veris, as long as there is no evidence of bb, I'm not bothered and I don't bareback myself so even that makes no real difference. Evidence of lots of sexual partners who have left excellent veris actually makes me more likely to meet people

Personally, i wouldn't see the need to display more than 6. You'd figure that by that point, people would get the hint that you don't mess around and a good sort of idea of the type of person you are (assuming the veris left for you aren't total lies)

Some women and couples measure "worth" on here based on the number of veris a profile shows. Others look at it conversely. I'd see 5 or 6 as a good amount for a single guy. Display any others upon request.

Agree, it's equally offputting seeing those that look to meet every night, good luck and enjoy. Private notes a great way to keep pointers

3 and a half is ok......4 is well over the top and tartish

To be serious,most people would realise that you show what you want to show on your profile anyway,sensible people will understand that this is a site where people meet up for fun,if they are the type that are put off by too many or too little without wanting to find out about you themselves do you really want to know them?

People analyse so much into profiles on here,does my head in sometimes,just message and chat and see how you get on....the veris really don't mean a lot to me

Its a personal thing to analyse though isn't it? Some will pick through a persons profile with a fine toothed comb, others will briefly scan read then say hello immediately, I simply think that as a single male you won't get as many opportunities as woman and couples on here, therefore need to appeal to the broadest spectrum possible (and no, that doesn't mean you don't have personal standards, as you can refine them as you go along).

fluzie and proud here.. I think most of the guys I meet on a regular basis have verifications in the triple figures... Or at least double. Although it doesn't really bother me x

Okay it was humour lost on a couple of you. Either way it was intended as humour. If I displayed my veri's from over the years you could see that. However as I don't you will just have to take my word it was meant as banter.

Too many? What a crock. I have 37 from 23 different guys. So what does that mean? It means I do actually meet and do so regularly.

What it does not mean or represent is the sum total of all the casual sexual partners I have ever had.

If anyone looks at my profile and decides I have too many, then they are not my type anyway.

We have a few on our's, but then we have single veri's for each of us and also for us as a couple.

I personally don't care how many veri's a person has, i think it gives a good insight of that person that you are meeting Ruby

Personally don't think it matters how many displayed meets ppl have... As long as some show that they have met in person and they seem like a genuine person, should't that be what counts???

I've played with a guy who has well over 100 displayed veris, those with very few and a couple of unverified ('til they met me of course)...I've got something like 65 displayed myself and am aiming for the ton as soon as I can...for me it's definitely not the amount of verifications, it's whether they've a pulse

Not one bit. Everyone entitled to their own opinion. A lot of mine are from meets ive seen a few times, and I look at others with the view that if they have met someone a few times they must be worth meeting.

Personaly I prefer to see a few veris, rather than see them all hidden

Not judging others on how many they have shown. We seem to be veering off the actual topic at hand.

I wouldnt meet someone with lots of veris displayed, but in fairness I do read them all to see if they are just socials or a fullon meet. Person has to tickle my fancy too, its not just about the veris.

Too many? How long is a piece of string?

As with everything on site, and indeed life - it's personal choice - like the level of info on profiles, picture content, messaging preferences, whether to interact via the forums or chat rooms.........and so on.

If a specific number puts you off - move on! Personally I don't care so long as I can see one or more and it's meet in person rather than the pointless 'webcam' veri's. it's part of creating a 'virtual image' of a site user - not the deciding factor on whether to meet or say hi!!

Verifications don't really interest me, I don't care how many people have. We attend parties and clubs and therefore can receive various veris from the same evening. We've also been swinging for about 3 years now so you do meet lots of people in that time.

I dont measure how many veris people have on their purity. Most of us meet strangers for sex, it doesn't make you a better person if you meet 1 or 20.

A single guy with veris from attending parties signifies someone who is well liked, reliable and a social person.

Though, as others have said, people will just hide what they don't want others to see

I think you've hit the nail on the head here!!

It's often said that singles (of both sexes) aren't really 'swingers' - something I personally disagree with but I'll admit - I've seen profiles that appear more 'desperately seeking instashag' than 'looking for like minded fun company'. No one 'owns' the term 'swinging' or has the right to define it - but particularly for those that enjoy the social, group or club environment as well as just the sex - these kind of veri's I imagine would be more useful than a string of 1-2-1 sex only meets.

Just my opinion though of course!

Thankyou Shadow, personally I think its unnecessary to show off a boatload of verifications, and perhaps better to show just a handful, enough to show that you've met a variety of people who all had a positive opinion of you, and give a better idea of the kind of people you're looking for and whom you appeal to.
