The problem arises if you are seen and the other person is offended or disturbed or distressed by it - same as with any public nudity.

As long as you make every attempt to cover up so you don't flash any children or appear to be trying to attract attention you should be ok.

But apply sunscreen to any sensitive bits inside the house - that could be considered lewd behaviour! And if any neighbours start being funny with you then they have had an eyeful!

I wouldnt do it because im too shy and the main reason is we have children living either side and are overlooked in all directions. But your garden is your garden and if no kids near and you arent overlooked, I dont see a problem. I personally, wouldnt be offended if I saw a fit, naked guy sunbathing.

Even in 2013 it's going to be easier for a woman to get away with this than a guy and the problem stems from people who automatically associate public nudity with sex.

It'd be all too easy to find yourself the topic of discussion down the post office queue.

if a man is seen naked HE is the flasher

ladys get away with it, men end up on the sex register

If no one can see you, without making a effort to see you you are fine. Others wise use a wind breaker as a blind. You should be fine
