If this is a serious question I would suggest walking by the person/couple with a happy 'good morning' and then sit down far enough away not to creep them out and wait for an obvious sign ... presumptions will get you in trouble!

I've noticed that there's normally a big finger shaped sign pointing at the couple with the words "DOGGERS" emblazoned on it.
