"I'm interested in the ride to work scheme but could do with more info on how it works " You'd need to speak to your employer about this. There are several schemes out there and individual work places also have their own rules. All I know now is if you don't save VAT anymore and as long as your company allow you to hire the bike for 4 years (to bring it into the 3% or 7% category) you'll save about 26% of the RRP. You used to save about 36% when VAT was saved too. This is based on sub 40% tax bracket earners. | |||
