I went to a party sat night on my own and I was the only single guy there. Took a lot of balls but so glad I did . Met lots of amazing couple's and was blown away by how I was treated. Had so much sexy fun it was amazing. Single guys if you want to meet people you need to get yourself to a party and get chatting to everyone. It's nerve racking but they won't bite .

Nearly been to a few but my anxiety of going as a single guy would go through the roof and I’d talk myself out of going out of fear of being out of place and unwelcomed

Yep I had the same feelings. You just need to get there and chat ,honestly you won't regret it. Even if you don't play at least you've done it and you'll try again.

Totally agree as long as they can see you are chatting and not just sat in the corner on your own , then people are friendly .

Not to put a dampener on this thread, but it sounds like you were the only single guy there because your wife didn’t join you.

I’d be interested to know if other single guys were also invited or if it was meant to be a couples only party.

If it was the latter, it does change the perception somewhat as a fair few parties (not all I admit) don’t accept single men

I don't get what you mean??? I'm just trying to let single guys know that if you do get invited to a party then put yourself out there and go. Its not always about the playing but you can get a few verifications from people for just talking to people.

My point is, were you invited as a single guy or as a couple? And were other single men invited also?

Because in my experience a large amount of party organisers do not invite single men

I assume he meant was it meant to be couples only? Which, if you do a bit of 'research' you can easily see that it wasn't. 🤷‍♂️

It's not hard to read veris, look who left them and view a profile that states single men are welcome at some of the hosts parties.

Although from a bit of reading, it does seem you may not have been the only single there. But your point is still valid. Single guys should take advantage of invites to parties, go with an open mind and have a blast! 👌

OP himself stated above that

A) He was the only single guy there

B) He was originally invited as part of a couple with his wife.

So you can see why it could be inferred that other men may not have been invited

Never a truer has been spoken. Talking from a viewpoint of having had a single profile and a couples profile, house party's are a single guy's gateway into the swinging scene.

If a single guy gets an invite, turn up smart, do plenty of talking, remember, singles are needed at a party to give partners and hubbys a break and to spit roast, so you're vital to a house party. We've had many single guy's bottle it, no message, just don't turn up. If you put in a good shift then you're advertising yourself to couples who want a threesome. One warning, do NOT pester the host after, with 'hows it going messages'. Fab ain't Facebook, we're sex acquaintances, not friends. The hosts get fed up with that and then no more invites.

My wife and I attended a party like this. The women had a whale of a time, the single guys did too. The male partners less so. Doubt we'll go to another. The balance was too far off to give the couples equal amounts of fun. Without the couples, these things can fall flat, so organisers need to be careful when mixing up invitation types.
