Ever get the feeling where youre needing a change of some sort in your life but you dont know what?

Im currently feeling lots of very different emotions at all the same time , some I can understand but some have completely taken me aback, almost shocked that i feel the way I do.

Part of me wants to "settle down " be dare I even say it vanilla, but deep down I know ill never be vanilla again.

Feel my life is revovling around swinging, ive made some fantastic friends on here and would always keep in touch but need something else in my life, either aswell as or instead of but im fecked if I know what

Thinking maybe I need time away ( hence hidden profile )or just needing some excitment back in my life.

Last time I fell like this I closed my business , left my husband, got my first tattoo and found swinging but two and half years later I'm in same situation.

What have you done when life goes stale?

Think we all have those feelings, and maybe the focus on sex is actually the desire for intimacy on many levels, not just physical ?

Plan a trip, have things to look forward to but most of all have purpose in life. It is after all, a gift and a blank canvas.

I'd be quite detached and write a list of what I wanted, what I needed to do to achieve those goals, look at options and SWOT analysis it all and then probably decide to do nothing.

Go on holiday and get away from your usual surroundings.

I've been feeling like that for the last year at least!

I don't know whether is it time to move, maybe a bit further south ie Glasgow, but then I have a job up here, even if I'm not completely happy with it! It is at least a wage coming in I suppose, then I would have to sell up and start again, it just makes my head spin! Sometimes I wish someone would just take control and make the decision for me

thats just it ie just had great 12 days away, dirty weekened , family time then camping with fabbers ..always get the holiday come down but that was two weeks aga .never felt so crap as feel right now

Have holiday booked for November, das out planned etc etc so loads to look forward to just hate feeling so low

I expected this thread to be about the classic British soap "Crossroads" broadcast between 1964 and 2003 and the amusing characters such as 'Miss Diane', 'Benny' and the chef 'Shughie McFee' !!

I'm sorely disappointed!!!

I set myself personal challenges .. usually in a sporting capacity .. ie .. achieve a certain level of long distance running that I had not previously managed to attain or cycling. The point being that I will spend a lot of time trying to achieve it .. no one will know of the target or if I ever attained it but with each step into progress that I achieve, I will have a personal sense of satisfaction from it and spend a lot of time on it which distracts from the mundane repetition of life

I'm at that point now. I've taken time out from work to seriously think "what next". My children are settled in their lives, I've come into some money and want to sell up and move.

I'm looking at coastal properties but also love the idea of living in the Dordogne. I've felt unsettled since my solo trip to Marrakech last year: I loved it and enjoyed every second. I'm not shy so I'll be ok abroad. I need a change of pace for me. I'm not looking for A N Other: yet, I just know I need to slow down, chill and find balance to my life.

It took me to move out of London to slow down. It's so fast paced that almost your life becomes that way....if that makes sense
