The Nolans weren't everyone's cup of tea, but I used to fancy a couple of them like mad when I were a ladd.

So sad to hear just now the Bernie has lost her long battle with cancer.

I had the pleasure of working with Bernie on 2 pantos and she was a wonderful warm charming funny woman who mothered us all and left me with warm fond memories.

She will be sadly missed as will her ability to burp the alphabet.

My heart goes out to her family

A sad loss indeed, I challenge anyone to not have a smile on their face when they hear a nolan's song brings back such good memories she and her sisters hold a special place in both my heart and the whole nation
