lol getting ready 2 go 4 a meal a few weeks ago.. hair done 2 perfection, nails manicured, new dress on felt gr8..

asked daughter how i looked, just 2 be told u look sick mum, 2 which my jaw dropped until she told me that sick means good.. lol

My 12y/o got the message when she started speaking to me in a strange dialect of English that I'd never heard before so I replied with, "It's about 11 o'clock, Princess."

She then looked at me quizzically and said, "Dad, what you on about?"

I said, "You just asked me the time, didn't you?"

She rolled her eyes and said, "Ah, forget it."

"Forget what?" said I.

She's reverted to modern English again now.
