Hi folks, I'm toying with the idea of taking a ride to the sea side this weekend, if the weather permits. Can anyone suggest any good places or dare i say it.... beaches to visit along the North Sea. Im aiming for good scenery, friendly folk. Nudist beach would be good.

Sorry, as u probably noticed I'm geography is a bit pants. I'm from Nottingham so anywhere near Skegness or an hour or so from there.

There are some very pretty place along the suffolk coastline,don't know about nudist beaches though,try it and see if you get away with it.....joke!

Knowing my luck I won't get away with it. Funny that, I have family near Suffolk too lol I think a trip is on order.

you can join the meerkats at Theddlethorpe, near mablethorpe ... or you can be on your own (ish) with miles of sand almost to yourself at horseshoe point near cleethorpes

Cleethorpes has a festival of flight on over the last weekend of this month, red arrows are performing on the Sunday and parachutists on the Saturday
