I have just come off 2 full on days in work and im starting a night shift in my new post tonight.

And just came to bed to find a note off my son saying " good luck mum i know you will be fine and we will sort our own tea be safe love ya loads xx

Ps will you wash the clothes ive put in the basket when you wake up

Now the first bit made me happy and how could i refuse.

Sat in my machine having my sarnies and a buzzard comes and sits in a tree very nearby. Could of watched him for hours

Sat sunbathing one day eating a sarnie.A grey squirrel,slowly and hesitantly started climbing my leg and sat on his haunches on my thighs breaking a bit of my sarnie off and happily munched away at the bread.It made my day.I know grey squirrels are vermin,but it was the fact that it wasn't nervous of me at all.
