Including but not limited to and obviously not all at once,,,,,,,,

Metal detecting, wood carving / wood turning, metal and ceramic sculpture, bottle digging, stone polishing and beach combing, clock making.....the list goes on and on and on....

Oh and I've recently made a high-speed turntable from an old rotary lawn mower which I intend using to produce large size spun artworks pictures once I get moved to my next home ….

I’m more of a mercenary detector,,,,, I tend to target fresh finds rather than being a proper treasure hunter …..

I search areas where the public has recently been active,,,, like at the bottom of sledge runs or picnic sites and local show fields after they've held events and festivals….!.

I've even managed to reunite a few people with their lost jewellery, which is kinda cool too...

Its a bit of a cheat for me as I literally live right on the coast and I walk the beach daily where I have the run of a five mile stretch between the River Tyne and the River Wear,,,

Big fan of reading crime fiction

Love gardening and growing fruit & vegetables.

Addicted to programmes like Storage Wars & Hunters, Bargain Hunt etc. I record them all.

When we have the money going to gigs....really hoping to get to see Halestorm /Alter Bridge in October.

Over the rainbow, under the bridge

Reading is the top one for me.

Theatre is another - particularly Shakespeare and musicals. Odd combination, I know. I have a multitude of programmes to all the shows I have seen over the years.

Camping, tap dancing, making jewellery, cooking, and driving my car.

When I have the time, I would like to improve my French and learn to play the clarinet or a brass instrument.

West Yorkshire

I go through phases with hobbies but I always come back to them. I just don't really have a thing I do daily /frequently.

When in the right mood my hobbies include:

Knitting,

Sewing (I like to make sewn gifts),

Baking (recently experimenting with cake decoration),

I play in a samba band but go through phases with this too,

Computer games (sims type things, I will get addicted for a week or two then lose interest again),

Reading,

Trawling through recipe books for inspiration, bargain hunting in charity shops,

Doing up random bits of freebie or dirt cheap furniture and making it look 'shabby chic',

Tidying! Which I seem to have an all or nothing approach to.
