Totally agree about phases. Really into old style dubstep at the minute except my subwoofer has blown so can't listen to it properly now

Also got a massive thing for knife party right now

What about dub? Is dubstep anything even related to dub?

pretty sure dub draws a lot of influence from reagge and was around way before dubstep

Old skool dubstep uses 2-step beats while focusing massively on sub-bass, hence needing a subwoofer to hear it properly

soul, Motown, blues, dancehall, jazz, trace, drum and bass, dub step, hip hop, rock, metal, I'm pretty eclectic when it comes to music!

I do tend to prefer the oldies, when it comes to listening purely for pleasure though, patty labelle, ray charles, Aretha etc, also love the black keys, the doors, emeli sande, Adele, rudimental, Alex Clare and such!
