I'm having tagliatelle with tomato, chilli and chorizo sauce. Oh and a green salad with a Dijon mustard vinagrette, all washed down with a superb vintage Ribena.

Earlier in the day when it started off warm and sunny I was planning a salmon or cheese salad.

Fog rolled in and the winter menu came out...a couple of burgers cabbage potatoes and onion gravy.

Walked nearly 8miles and too knackered to cook, so Chinky takeaway instead, in the form of a Singapore fried noodle and prawn crackers, washed down with a bottle of alcoholic ginger beer.
