If you were selling your car, how would you do it? Would you get it in Autotrader, flog it to a dealer or just stick a sign in the back window with your number on it?

I would use Auto Trader if you want to get as much as possible. Dealer if you want to unload it quickly and hassle free.

Depends on it's value. If it's worth a few quid then auto trader is probably the way forward if it's not then maybe try gumtree or your local Friday add.

If it's a sports type car then piston heads might be worth a shout

Plenty of options there

Ebay and a notice in the window. You can either do an auction listing or something along the lines of a classified ad. We've bought and sold cars very successfully this way.
