Children who text are better at spelling…. so one of the papers have reported today.

Even if they were typed so you could read them you’d never understand them! lol

i hate text speak!!!! if my kid texts or any of my nephews or nieces i end up havin to phone them to ask just what exactly they are tryin to tell me!! xx

I text in long hand too Pearl I personally can't stand it! It's one thing using text for texting but I've received application forms containing text speech! As the jobs are for £30k and involves minuting three day meetings there no chance of me reading past the first occurence of text speak!!

cant do the txt speak at all, i have 3 teenagers who constantly text me then wonder why the hell i don't text them back..

Sticking to predictive text ( just wish the damn phone had a spell checker! )

Orignally it was used for phones to use less characters when sending messages. that I can understand if kids have only a few text they can send...but I really can't understand why people use it on the net and in mails.....it isn't like you are going to run out of letters on the keyboard is it.
