Have been watching the F1 qualifying at Silverstone this morning and was deeply saddened to hear Murray Walker has been diagnosed with Leukaemia.

I met him many years ago and found him to be a smashing man with the most contagious laugh.

Get well soon Murray

Met him about 10 years ago, top bloke and by far the best and most enthusiastic racing commentator ever

I used to love watching him and Damon Hill commentating just after Hill retired..

Eye candy with two very funny guys talking F1. My.. those were the days..

Can't quite get the same effect with Eddie Jordan and David "kryton" Coulthard

Swindon

Thankfully it seems that Murray's cancer has been caught early and hopefully will make a full recovery. He is `The Boss` as far as F1 is concerned
