Some people do create profiles using AI tools, it's relatively easy to tell. Sometimes you might get photos that were done using AI, but the site is quite good at taking them down.

Businesses yes use AI to scan the site yes, it is able mass download all the photos, videos and also have ability to scan for data such as age, sex, likes etc.

To be honest the reason for the question was because I was always talking to people who were just too far away when I lived back home in Scotland. And now even though I’ve moved to Greater London, one of the most densely populated areas in the UK, I seem to be getting a lot of results and conversations from back home haahahaha.

It just seemed quite structured and a bit weird. Maybe I’m just a little paranoid about such a silly thing ??

I've seen some pics that look like they could be AI. I've seen profile text that is almost certainly AI. And I've seen people start antagonistic forum threads that are definitely AI
