Picked Eggs?

Personally I love 'em, reminds me of being young and thinking you were grown up and be able to sup a pint and a pickled egg at 16. With hindsight I can't remember anybody above that age actually buying one from the immense jars that had probably sat in the pub since VE Day. So my question is, you can still buy them at selected supermarkets and I do, but does anybody else buy/ yearn for the pickled egg/ten bob pint of bitter?

Ive never wanted to eat a pickled egg but huge pickled onion from the chip shop is a definate yes

in my own little world :-)

My mum used to pickle eggs, and onions and make all sorts of jams and chutneys and pickles!!

I still have a pickled egg with fish and chips every now and then but I remember being a kid and being taken to the pub beer garden. Bottle of (glass bottle) with a straw and a bag of crisps with a pickled egg in
