"After the first message is read what is a acceptable amount of time to send a second "

I feel like this is a trap but....the acceptable time to send a second message is after they have replied to the first

Assume you're talking on here and not a work email or a consumer complaint? If so wait for a reply. If you don't get a reply move on.

If they’ve not replied to your message mate, only read it, welcome to Fab! 😁

Don’t you send another message, unless they reply to you 👍

Give it a few days to give them time to respond. Then delete your sent message and forget all about it, they are not interested.

Also make use of the notes if you can so you doubly know

I never usually add to these types of questions but:

Never, if she messages back then great.

if you get into chatting, only reply back when she responds to you.

If you feel you have a connection then leave it up to her if she would like to take the conversation off line on whatsupdoc or other apps, video called or even other modern app.

Women get crap on here all the time and there has to be a mutual energy, trust and time.

I don't message people and I only put time into the women that message me who I feel has the same energy as me but, I very picky and my time is worth more then using it on people I don't connect with. What I'm looking for is someone with specific qualities and energy.

After a first message? Don’t

Several dozen messages in already, and chatting is friendly? then by all means send a follow up. If that’s ignored then move on

Normal people will tell you 'after a reply'

But some of the male fraternity will give you answers varying from 5 mins, to 24 hrs.

And some will sau send a 3rd, 4th amd 5th, and then resort to personal insults if all else fails.

Depends who you ask really 🤷‍♀️

40-50 years maybe. They might be looking for something different by then.

Never. If they wanted to reply, they would.

Repeat messages are incredibly annoying. I just blocked someone who’d sent a third message.

Give it a day for one more try, I sometimes skip past or forget to message back.

Never send a question mark or two - I hate that

In trouble, apparently…

And if you get a reply that simply says “thanks” or otherwise clearly doesnt carry the conversation forwards, then it’s a sign the conversation is over.

People sometimes reply out of politeness, but this doesn’t mean they want to carry on chatting with you.

Any clues on this scenario all you budding agony aunts.

Couple winked us, they've been on over a year and no veri's. We messaged back with a Thanks, yes we'd be interested in chatting, meeting or whatever you deemed appropriate. One week and no reply. But then another wink from them. Eh?

Probably a bloke messing around. If there’s no commitment to a conversation, I’d just block and move on.

Message new people, until you get a reply. Ignore who's been messaged and not replied
