Thats not good , to be honest though I live 10 mins from o e if my brothers and maybe only see twice a year , I have another brother in Oldham and see him least twice a month !! Being close can actually stop you making the effort 🙂‍↕️

I have previously tried to think about what I would change. But I keep coming back to the conclusion that every experience I have had, for good or bad, has shaped who I am.

Even the hardest and most painful parts are woven into my identity, so changing one thing would mean becoming someone else.

I'm not sure I'd want that.

I wish I'd looked after my type 1 diabetes better so I wouldn't be suffering the complications I am now, but I think it's something I'll always struggle with. I wish I could force myself not to mess things up when I'm feeling low.

I'd change having ignored back/sciatica pain for 18 months and trying to keep going.

It would have resulted in my not being in so debilitated and in so much pain for so long. I probably wouldn't have suffered with depression and put loads of weight on, and now - nearly three years after the surgery I wouldn't be left with residual pain and weakness in my back, and finding it difficult to get back to my pre-injury fitness levels.
