Been sent home from work as was bitten on Monday night and arm is twice the size, any ideas how to get swelling to go down?

Depends what you were bitten by. Anti histamine for insect maybe. Garlic and prayer for a vampire.

Get yourself to the Doctor pronto.... I got bitten last Wednesday nite and saw the GP Thursday with every bite infected, have been on double antibiotics since then and also antihistamines three times a day ...... the swelling and redness has now gone but I was advised by GP if the antibiotics didn't work then I would have be in hospital on an intravenous drip
