Some men might; but I'm not sure they could then accurately be described as straight. For me, straight means penises are an absolute no go under any circumstances, bi-curious means penises thought about but not necessarily desired, bi means penises are accepted or even desired and gay obviously means penises only.

A lot of what you've said is anecdotal though. Just like until i started using sites like this one, i didn't realise there were so many "straight" guys who apparently were receptive to other guys. And a lot of them don't even need a night out, or to be d*unk to do so.

Societal pressures mean that a lot more guys would be inclined to hide that aspect of their sexual preferences than women. To this day, it is seen as okay, even favourable for women to be bisexual in large parts of the world. The same can't be said for guys.

It goes some way to explaining what i mentioned in my first post in this thread.

This is how it started with me. Once kids came along the sex at home stopped, or at least seriously reduced.

I would have never thought of going near another guy and my first experience wasn't good. I would have only strayed with women, if they were in plentiful supply.

However, my second experience and so on was much much better and although given the choice I'd still prefer female over male, there's something highly erotic and different with a guy and life's all about experiences.
